Mr. MH RAHMAN who is a well known business personality in the country & known for his strict commitment to the quality of his business transactions.
Having obtained his Master's in Economics (1966) he started his career with a leading Multinational Company.
With the training & experience earned in Marketing Management during his tenure of service he ventured to get engaged in his own business.
In 1975 he founded Arenco which in course of time became the mother company of the Group.
As a part & parcel of his commitment to the development of the Country’s business community he opted to be an active member to the Countries leading Trade body, Dhaka Chamber Of Commerce Industry (DCCI) in 1993.
Subsequently he was elected President of DCCI in 1999.
As a private sector representative Mr. Rahman was nominated as a member of the Board of Dhaka Stock Exchange, Dhaka Water & Sewerage Authority & Dhaka Sheraton hotel.
Mr. Rahman is a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International.
He is also actively engaged in a number of social institutions & initiatives.
